Privacy Policy

Your money data is sensitive. Here is exactly what we collect, how we protect it, and what you can do about it, written to be read, not skimmed past.

What Nurelvo is

Nurelvo is a personal money management app. It connects to your financial accounts and turns your transactions and balances into a clear picture of your cash flow, spending, subscriptions, and trends.

This policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. By creating an account and connecting a financial institution, you agree to the practices described here.

What data we collect

Account information: your email address and the authentication details needed to sign you in.

Financial data: when you connect a bank or card, we receive account names, balances, and transaction history (dates, amounts, merchants, and categories) so we can show you your money clearly.

Your bank username and password never touch Nurelvo. You enter them directly with Plaid, our connection provider, or with your bank. We never see, receive, or store them.

How Plaid is involved

Nurelvo uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial institution. When you link an account, you provide your credentials directly to Plaid, and Plaid retrieves your account and transaction data on your behalf.

Notice: this means your financial data is collected and processed by Plaid in order to provide it to Nurelvo. Plaid may also use your data as described in its own privacy policy.

Consent: by connecting an account through Nurelvo, you grant Nurelvo and Plaid the right to access, process, and transmit your financial data for the purpose of providing the service, and you agree to the Plaid End User Privacy Policy linked below.

Read the Plaid End User Privacy Policy to understand how Plaid handles your data.

How we store your data

Your data is stored in Supabase, our database provider, and is encrypted at rest and in transit.

The access tokens that let us read your accounts through Plaid are stored encrypted and are never written to logs, error reports, or analytics.

Access to your data is restricted to your own account: every database query is scoped to you, and our systems are built so one user can never see another user’s data.

What we never do

We never sell your data, to anyone, for any reason.

We never store your bank username or password.

We never move money. Nurelvo has read-only access to your accounts.

We never log account numbers, access tokens, or raw financial payloads.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your financial data only while your account is active, so the app can show you your history and trends.

You can disconnect any linked account at any time. Disconnecting stops new data from flowing in.

You can also request full deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will delete your data and confirm when it is done.

Your rights and contact

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

For any privacy question or request, email privacy@nurelvo.com. We respond to every request.

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date below and let you know in the app.

Effective date: June 9, 2026
